Audrey Large

Audrey Large (b.1994) is a French designer based in the Netherlands.
She graduated from the Ecole Supérieure d'Arts et de Design of Reims (FR), BA Object and Space Design, in 2015, and with Cum Laude from the Design Academy of Eindhoven (NL), MA Social Design, in 2017 .

Her practice explores the potential of digital image manipulation processes applied to the design of our material surroundings.
For her, objects are images and images are objects. Whether moving, 2D or 3D, she considers herself an image maker.

Her work tends to blur the lines of the obsolete dichotomy of true object and the simulacra of its weightless representation, and thus attempts to redefine the keys to a new materiality.

Currently designer in residence at the Jan Van Eyck Academy in Maastricht (NL), she pursues her research on the image-object, as well as conducting independent spatial interventions with the collective Morph.love, co-founded in 2018.
